This is an interesting product. You might think you get it all in one easy to use package. Easy to use, yes, but you don’t get it all. I mean, it’s great to trim your beard, but it does a pretty poor job shaving. They tried to release this super grooming machine at a very affordable price, but it’s far from being perfect. The Braun Cruzer 6 has 4 different trimming lengths. For me it’s ok, I only use one, maximum two different lengths when I trim my beard but they could have put intermediary lengths, so you have more options and can get exactly the desired results. As far as trimming your beard is concerned it’s difficult to find a better product. The problematic area of this product though, is shaving. It gets the job done but you have to pass several times over the same spots, and that is when the risk of skin irritation arises.
You have to be careful when shaving your neck line. I recommend using several small passes in order to avoid taking out a chunk of your beard. As long as you’ll be careful about this aspect nothing can go wrong. On a positive note, it’s a great product for travelling with. A charge will hold for a decent amount of shaves. When I was gone for a few days, I didn’t even take the charging chord with me.
Overall the Braun Cruzer 6 made a good impression. It was easy to use, clean, and trim my beard to the desired length. I didn’t regret my curiosity of trying out this product. The shave wasn’t the best I ever had from an electric razor, but taking into account its versatility, I ranked it 3 stars.
